Rosacea / Redness

Rosacea is a common skin condition that primarily affects the central face. It most often affects those aged 30 to 60 and maybe transient, recurrent or persistent.

The most common symptoms of rosacea are flushing, bumps and pimples, and thread veins across cheeks, nose and other areas of the central face. Sometimes the eyes may be irritated and appear watery and bloodshot.

The cause of rosacea is unknown, it might be genetic, and several environmental factors are known to aggravate the condition, such as exposure to weather extremes, spicy foods, alcohol and caffeine.

Although rosacea varies from person to person and is not predictable in everyone, it gradually worsens with age, especially if untreated.

Unfortunately, rosacea is a chronic condition. However, with our medical grade IPL & LED phototherapy technologies, we can create a treatment plan based on your needs to keep rosacea under control. Treatments can work alongside topical treatments prescribed by doctors.

Maintenance treatments are often necessary to control the condition.

Technologies we use:

Targets blood vessels, delivering sufficient energy to destroy the thread vein whilst causing minimal damage to the surrounding skin. Following treatment, the damaged vessels are absorbed by the body, and little or no trace of the thread vein remains.

We use a combination of lights to calm redness & irritation and accelerate healing.
