Service Description

Lumixa is a topical gel that is applied to the skin then activated under our Dermalux Tri-Wave Medical Device to produce Fluorescent Light Energy (FLE) which generates multiple hyper-pulsed wavelengths to benefit the skin. A stand-alone LED treatment provides amazing benefits, however Lumixa ‘supercharges’ the benefits of a standard LED treatment by up to 7 times in a single 20 minute treatment. There are three variations of this treatment designed to target different skin conditions. These can be used as a one off treatment, or as the recommended course of five treatments. SKIN NORMALISER - Normalises, heals and repairs skin by targeting the signs and symptoms of inflammageing. - 80% more effective than LED in preventing and reducing inflammation - Has a revitalising and energising effect for improved skin health - Destresses the skin and makes it less reactive (so an ideal treatment before other procedures) - Great for dehydrated skin, dull complexions and problematic skins (red, Sensitive, inflamed skin, compromised skin barriers) - Reduces inflammation markets on fibroblasts and epiderma; keratinocytes by up to 80% COLLAGEN BOOSTER - Effective Against chronoageing, it slows down the ageing process through collagen banking. - Increases collagen production by up to 700% - Stimulates fibroblasts - Improves texture, tone, quality and structure of skin - Reactivates the skin matrix - Minimises the appearance of lines and enlarged pores - Ideal preventative treatment for anyone inbetween 18 and 40 years old to help slow down the ageing process through collagen banking. - In vitro studies show a 7X increase in collagen production 72 hours after treatment (compared to baseline) AGE CONTROL - Acts deeply within the skin by stimulating cellular regeneration and targeting signs and symptoms of ageing. - Stimulates cellular regeneration - Targets the signs of ageing - Reduces wrinkles by up to 74% - Decreases the skin age on average by 8 years - Improves skin firmness and jawline definition - Ideal for anyone showing signs of skin ageing including perimenopausal/menopausal women whose collagen degradation is around 3-6% per year instead of 1% for younger skins A series of 5 Lumixa fluorescent light energy treatments are recommended and the treatments can be conducted once every 7 to 14 days. A booster series of 5 treatments can be carried out after 12-18 weeks. A maintenance treatment can then be carried out every 4 to 12 weeks as necessary.
