Many people have deep tear troughs from a young age, with there likely being a genetic element to this. However, the tear troughs also worsen as we age, with gradual erosion of the bone and soft tissues in the area creating a sunken appearance. Tear trough filler can treat patients with hollowness under their eyes, dark circles, looking tired all the time and puffiness. If you have any of these concerns, tear trough filler/under-eye filler is likely for you. Ruth adapts the technique used depending on your concern and anatomy on examination. Some clients are more suitable for a mid-face rejuvenation, which involves additional supporting the tear trough from the mid-face and disguising puffiness/eye bags more superficially. This will be discussed in detail during your consultation. Duration of results: 9 - 12 months Tear Trough - £350 Tear Trough + Mid-Face - £450 Local anaesthetic cream is applied to the area for 20-30 minutes prior to a treatment. Due to the use of a cannula in this area, discomfort is very minimal and this procedure is well-tolerated with most clients experiencing no pain at all.
