Service Description

This Facial uses IPL and Medical Grade Light Treatment, together with carefully selected skin care protocols to help you manage Acne and excessive oil production. IPL triggers a chemical response that selectively destroys acne bacteria, while reducing the size of sebaceous glands, limiting the quantity of sebum they are able to produce. IPL helps clear acne and rebalances the skin, however it is also important to address the cause and other acne triggers. Downtime needed: a few hours after treatment Make Up can be worn the following day. Medical Grade Tri-Wave Dermalux Light Treatment continues to target Acne Bacteria while having an anti-inflammatory effect. Step 1: Cleanse Step 2: Exfoliation Step 3: IPL Laser Step 4: Hyaluronic Acid Sheet Mask Step 5: Medical Grade Tri-Wave MD Dermalux Light Treatment Step 6: Serum + SPF A test patch is needed one week before a full treatment. Regular Facials are recommended for effective results. Acne follow up facials should be spaced 2-3 weeks apart. This is to allow time for the treated lesions to subside so that each further treatment is able to target what remains. Having only 1-2 treatments or spacing treatments more than 3-4 weeks apart will likely result in poor clinical outcomes as the effects of the treatment are cumulative (similar to an exercise program). If acne is caused by an underlying hormonal issue, on-going treatments may be required to control the condition, which may not be possible to completely remove. As you progress through the booking system, you will have the option to choose a price plan, where you get 6 treatments and only pay for 5.
